I want to live,

Experience all the shades, tints and hues the sky has to offer

But it abruptly turns into a deadly grey,

Because you decided I was unworthy of living.

I want to laugh,

Giggle at the hilarious jokes my classmates make

But they abruptly freeze into cold statues,

Because you decided I was a burden.

I want to love,

Hug my friends when we win a championship

But the ground tears apart, and I fall,

Because you decided I was unlovable.

How did I ever become unworthy of life,

A burden to the same parents who

Willingly give in to every demand of their son,

And unlovable, as if every drop of love 

You showered on your son

Was out to taunt me?

The gods and goddesses above,

Detest you, for thinking you control another's life

Karma will bite you back, on their orders,

As you decided to take my life.

I am not unworthy of life,

I am not a burden,

I am not unlovable.

I am the opposite, and more.

I am worthy of living.

I am kind and compassionate.

I am strong and courageous,

And my soul deserves to live.
