I Talk To The Walls

I Talk To The Walls

2 mins
173

30 years have passed by,

And the rhythm is no more aligned

The serpentine road doesn't play its music,

Maybe called me to die.

I cried and called out your name.

Am I truly shy to say?

Hey mate, you wanna come along for a ride?

Or solitude shall lure my past to come to life.

The new light has kindled around,

New people have gathered around,

Those midnight tales never stop swirling around,

And the problems scream aloud.

I asked my heart, “Why is that you fear to die"

Even though it's the ultimate truth of life.

Cursing your people around, dear mate what is that you will gain?

Solace for a moment but the loss of amity you truly afraid!

Revamping into the days of rigorous arguments,

The night sleeps to console her at the tranquil bay,

Tell me, O! heart. Tell me...

Is that the way you truly wanna live?

Lo, she calls me to her merkiest din,

And my heart forgot to cry,

The lost rythm in me flows into an unbridled aline.

The array of thoughts gush thro' my nerves,

Reminding me of my past life.

A toddler on his momma's lap cried for his lost dad.

Oh, Good Fate! Is that truly I deserved?

I could feel my senses growing numb,

And my heart's palpitations went unnoticed.

The light began to fade, my breath fell short.

I tried to speak, wanted to bid a final farewell,

But alas, the truth of life came to take me for hell's ride.
