I Love The Defeat
I Love The Defeat
I love to own
The defeat
That establishes me
And breaks me too.
Just like the sea
That owns the waves,
Even if they love
The shore.
I strand myself, even if the traveller, unmet,
Leaves me.
A breeze that beguiles time
In the arms of a flower
Gives me the failure
To embrace.
I travel with emotions,
And time, as usual, shows its tyranny—
It humbles me with a failure
So near to me,
So dear to me, yet unattainable.
I sleep with incompleteness.
I wake up with emptiness.
Yes, I love the defeat
That establishes me
And breaks me too.
