I Had To Leave

I flew away,

Left behind what they claim to be mine.

I pulled myself against the stickum made of emotions,

I had to leave behind those whom I've never thought of leaving behind.

I had to leave, leaving the mark of my presence alone.

I had to move through the air, for I was meant to evolve.

I wanted to savor the freedom that no one gets to define ever,

I was made to cherish that freedom forever.
