I dream of freedom
I dream of freedom
I dream of freedom
of days unrestrained,
to spread my wings and soar,
to turn off the thoughts,
the million nattering voices.
To look at the sky,
a gulp of cool air,
rain trickling down my face.
A draft of breeze,
lifting me,
making me sail.
Days upon nights,
of oblivion.
No voices in my ears,
no numbers on my face,
no tags on my neck.
—is all I dream of.
