I Choose To Dance

I Choose To Dance

The big hollow arena, waited for my steps to tap,

Unfurling my curls, I chose to dance,

My gorgeous pair of stilettos, left behind as I chose to dance,

Collecting the symphony of music to my ears, as I chose to dance,

Tapped, tip-tap-toed to the rhythmic beats,

The feet overwhelmed by the choice of music,

The sheer magnitude of happiness, hurled and happily hugged me,

I hugged back as I chose to dance.

I gathered all the courage, leaving behind the indistinct chatters pulling me apart, as I chose to dance,

Flaunting my curves and chiseled steps,

Moved around like a gliding klepht,

Synchronizing to musical sound,

In symphony, my heart lies bound.
