I Am The Persister!

I am the beam

Of my lifeboat,

Balancing both the sides

Emotional and the practical note.

I have had survived

Intruding humongous tides,

Also have had shredded the tears

For the procellous nights.

Be it soothing moonshine

Or be it blazing scorching sunlight,

Whether the storms invaded

Or be the subtle pacific sight...

I was always with me

Steadfast with my beliefs,

Never gave up the hands I held

Of my dreams and ways toward relief.

Though the voyage is longer

Yet to face unknown umpteen twisters,

Here I am sailing my boat 

With endurance - I am the persister!
