I Am Sorry... Buddy!

It's been long since we were us 

Long enough to accumulate dust

Maybe we got off on the wrong foot 

Or maybe we didn't have strong roots 

But I still love you as I always did 

For you are the friend I'll always need 

For whom I've cried, wept, sobbed and wailed 

Yet all of it went unheard 'cause I was too frail 

I swear I tried my level my best 

To find some free time amidst the rest 

But was bound within a limit 

Beyond which you can call me timid

I will go on for a hundred thousand times

To try and convince you with my stupid rhymes 

But even you have to share a move 

And tell me where to improve 

For you have your reasons and I have mine 

And for us to fix all and twine 

You have to gimme a chance 

As well as some time to enhance

I know I am the one to be blamed

Hence I do apologize with guilt and shame 

But I'll still be waiting for that single text 

Even if I have to wait for days, weeks or years next!

I don't know when you'll get to read 

Though I sincerely desperately plead

To start with a new beginning with me, fresh 

And get rid of this held back mess...
