Humming Memories....
Humming Memories....
It thinks, endures, bargains and bears;
The Night lays mum and Dawn still nears.
The lame silence strucks hard again,
With humming of your memories in my ears...
That rusted chyme, hung mute and bare,
now seldom talks; as if I care,
when garrulous shadows grow tipsy,
I think yet again, of your hollow stare.
Brave are the eyes which hold up tears,
With humming of your memories in my ears...
While patter hard, those rain showers;
This windows-sill with dried flowers,
looks on and over the drenched meadow
to find in the fog those lost towers.
The trance ensues while the murk clears
With humming of your memories in my ears...
