Hourglass

It takes us to the late 15th century,

When the world was techno- free.

A device is used to measure the time phase.

When the plant became a tree ??

Two round cones, attached neck to neck,

Glass-filled with sand that always tries to flee,

The upper part transfers sand to the other cone,

More sand down is a signal to hurry,

When the above cone is left with no sand,

Or any liquid like water or mercury,

We invert it from up to down,

A new hour starts with a new worry.

Then, king and queen, everybody uses it,

It was just like a time theory,

It has disappeared in modern times,

Only can be seen in movies or tales of fairy.

Now the wall clocks, phones, and watches,

Are time reading devices used by many?

It is only placed in the room as 

Showpiece and for children's merry.
