He sat there gazing at the skies, with the clouds floating beneath his heel

He had travelled so far and climbed so high; that all he sensed was this gasping feel

He was amazed at the profundity of the valley and the deep silence it wore

Surrounded by the maze of white, which touched by the Sun; sparkled like gold

As a cloud of tranquility descended on his heart, his troubling thoughts stepped away for a stroll

He could feel the calmness in his breath and the peace finally settling down on his soul

He noticed his pain and anger, make way for the radiance in his eyes

As a thousand unspoken words made his tormented soul sway

He basked in the Sun in that serene silence; reminding his soul that he will rise again

From his fractured hopes and broken will; like a ‘Phoenix rising from the ashes of the Angst within’
