Here I Stand

Here I stand, beneath the stars

Above all the pain, nightmares and pessimistic memories.

Right in front of me lies a happy and a peaceful future with some ups and downs, highs and lows. 

Right behind me lies my colourful, vivid and unspeakably happy past,

And this is where I stand, in my anxious and complex present.

And this scares the hell out of me, because as the saying goes 'your present will make your future'. 

I just don't want to ruin a successful and happy future of mine. I don't know what is gonna come next but I know one thing that your future lies in your hands.

Your current situation doesn't define your future.

As of me, I am not gonna take my anxiety and complexity with me ahead
