Woke up this morning,

The sun's rays touched my face.

My lips blossomed with a smile,

Unconsciously, it struck me for a while.

You were in my last night's dreams,

My heart beat fast, as it screamed.

You're leaving my hand,

Though you promised it would be in your hand.

My silent tears never touched your lips,

They're the dumbs, unable to express what they reveal.

Look up at a glance,

It pours all the salt that you have added.

Life lacks shade; it's almost faded.

All I ever wanted in you,

Love, laughter, a pillow for my tears.

I wanted to give and be given to,

My everlasting soul that would flow in you over years.

I miss the tender way you spoke,

That showed me that you cared.

The mesmerizing words,

That made me feel beautiful.

It's my mistake to believe someone unfaithful.

I didn't expect you as a scapegoat,

Despite holding me at times of toughs.

Far away from you, I am alone and sad,

Feeling very unlikely and dead.
