Don't Go O Love

Don't Go O Love

Don't go O Love, Please stay I pray,

For I will not last another lonesome day.

I've held my heart in a cage so tight,

It burns in silence all through the night.

Every time I see you walk away from me,

I feel the pain of misery.

Hark my dear, the world is vile,

It seeks not joy, but only to beguile.

Lovers are bound and romance constrained,

For eternity it transpires, that love is enchained.

These tears we shed when we depart,

Will bring us closer when we are apart.

For God is witness to all our sorrow

And shall answer our prayers

And unite us tomorrow.
