Tortured soul

Tortured soul

I share my life

With an empty sky

With no moon or sun

To lit its horizon

No dazzling stars

To hide it's scar

When all was lost

You marched my fort

With lots of hope

To cure my soul;

Living in this demonic world

Filled with hate, jealousy and envy

You became the ray of light

Focused to brighten the sky;

You were the balm

To my tortured soul

You lifted this charcoal mist

Which held me in its fist

You were the wintry sun

To my frozen self;

Who has dealt

With the harshest sight;

When all was done

You made my life exuberant.
