She noticed the smallest things,

The things I knew mattered to her.

For example, the time we spent at the beach.

I hate the beach,

I forget about it everything every time she smiles,

Because love does that to people.

Love blinds us,

Even when everyone can see,

That we’re not meant to be.

Love is like you,

Existing all together,

But not forever.
