We filled the little spaces in time

 with the warmth of ginger tea

as the wintry sun played hide and seek

in the terrace

lending credence to mischief

 The cosy couch stood as a metaphor

 for the ensuing rituals of love

 as wrongs of life faded gently

 with the subtleties of love

 Life unfolded slowly... steadily 

 adding mystic aura to the gleam and glitter

 like a sleepy lake aroused to enchantment

 by the quaint touch of a zephyr

 Wish you were there dear!

 with your teapot of love and grace

 to moisten my lips and throat

 and help me redeem gone by while

 with recurring motifs of fine sentiments.
