Handicapped!!

Handicapped..Them or Us!!!

We.. With our thoughts,

They in there form,

Both challenged in ways..

With different means to aid.

Unequal by privileges, birth and wealth,

But far superior to us in ways,

Helping hands, Radiant smiling faces,

Finding thrill in chores,

Those deemed so mundane

Incoherent talks, Crawling, Stooped gait..

Still standing tall in grace!!!

Intelligent, responsible, caring

All that we are.. But far more,

Standing against all odds,

Cognizant of life.. so un-forgiving..

Yet resilient and Triumphant,

Succeeding and proving self..

Beyond one's belief!!!

We watch in humbled awe..

Inspired.. Yet not ready to let go,

Of our comforts and built up Ego,

So pleased with the thought,

Of being able to do some good,

So much so...

That we forget it's them..

Who are tolerant enough,

To let us feel and do so..!!

We sympathize with them,

Yet they Empathise with us!!!

Lingering on..in our minds,

Without uttering any words,

Just simple nods and graceful smiles..

Leaving much to ponder upon!!
