Green, a color depicting Growth and Purity

The colour green means a lot to me,

The grass, the mountains, the trees.

It is a colour which soothes your eyes,

And never let's you cheat and tell lies.

The lush green fields are a symbol of growth,

Makes happier men and women both.

After hard work, it's like a reward to them,

To see the fruits and vegetables not less than a gem.

Where there is purity, there is colour green,

Purity everywhere in words and action seen.

I have seen my country grow all through,

Using the equipment old and new.

Purity in the heart, mind and soul,

Flowing like a water out of control.

It is this that makes my country great,

And gives a chance to everyone to celebrate. 

There are many standing on the border,

Waiting to follow any kind of order.

Those soldiers who are the main heroes,

Helping the country to come out from the burrough.

'I for India' I always support,

Doing things so that no one's hurt.

Where purity and growth go hand in hand,

With my country I always stand.
