Gold Bracelets

                          

In Patna child Gobind Rai played around

Children gathered to have fun all around

Uncle Kirpal Chand escorted him for care

Leave him unattended he could not dare

In Ganges once all children were playing 

Summer was being enjoyed in splashing 

Gold bracelets adorned Bala Gobind's arms

In his play he lost one in waters of Ganges

At reaching home, Mata Gujri noticed it

She enquired where he lost one bracelet

Unmindful of the loss he told in the Ganges

Went they back to trace and retrieve it

Upon reaching the bank of the river

Gobind Rai threw away the other one

He said the first one was lost where 

The other one had dropped in water

At this point, Matta Gujri realised that

 Guru Teg Bahadur told not to scold 

Bal Gobind was thus untouched by

Worldly belongings, was to be a Savior
