Fresh Innings To Savour Life

I woke from my slumber,

With a jolt to start afresh and start anew. 

To reach that desired avenue.

I gather my strength to ponder

not to falter in slightest number, 

 that I so meticulously wonder.

How to subdue my fear of failure?

Let not fear grip that reason,

To follow my burning passion.

Why did I keep my dreams and aspirations enclosed in a hidden chest?

How did I learn that so late?

Not to surrender to my fate.

But to identify my potentials,

And give that fullest attention 

 to polish those credentials.

I am happy to merge with my new beginnings,

to make it a era of glorious innings.
