Fly Bird Fly
Fly Bird Fly
She was just a bird
Her life was only nascent
She flew out into the world
So bright and innocent
But before the path could clear
She was brought to a pause
The bright skies disappeared
It was like her wings were at a loss
She struggled to fight
Through the storm and rain
But she didn’t give up even at night
She fought and she fought! Through the pain
She sat out on a cloud
Victory at last
Her wings were tired and worn out
But she felt like she lost
The storm couldn’t break her
But she could’ve been broken?
No, she felt lost, so did her feathers
Though her path still remained unspoken
With all that was unknown
With all that despair
She let everything be condoned
Even what was unfair
Maybe she was too good-hearted
Maybe she was just too strong …
