Flight for Life
Flight for Life
Let us cast our seed
Upon the virgin soil of the great planes,
Stardust falling deep and rich, full of cosmic powers
And bringing forth in due season
A harvest of unimagined wholesome purity.
As rains fall from the clouds of olympus,
The spilling of wine from the riotous frolic of the gods,
Let all creation rejoice in the cleansing balm
Which heals the nations and tribes
Of such wretched wounds as are known among men.
Bring forth the fruits of pleasant savor,
A sensuous texture in a new order,
For the old is rotting before the eyes of the ancients
Who call in impotence for redemption
Finding before them a new generation full of hope's journey.
