First Kiss
First Kiss
When you were unsure
I was ignorant
Our souls were untouched
Lips were bland
There was no hunger
Passion was amiss
A heart so innocent that
Your mere presence could suffice
The touch of your lips
Was too much to process
Though it was not a kiss
Just a caress
I wanted to hold it
Forever on my lips
To feel how it feels
When the heart first flips
There were many kisses
After that kiss
I would cherish it always
Yet the first, I miss
