Fight Back Dad

Fight Back Dad

I was a champion,

Proudly owning the cloud9,

Now I have crashed to taste the dust for the rest of my life.

I am in agony and tears in my eyes

My daughter came and said,

"You won't just survive,

I want to see you thrive.

You'll fight back,

You are out of time,

But you will still rise.

Don't be turbulent,

Show the world your success was no accident.

Don't surrender father,

But rather

Be the master of your destiny.

You went from being zero,

To my own hero.

You are broken but not scattered,

You have failed many times,

But still, have not given up."

She inspired me,

I am ready as I had enough.

I had forgotten that I was once a Champion.

I won't just survive,

You will see me thrive.

Victory is in my vein,

And you will see me fight again.
