Father
Father
On your shoulders, like a lion, you carried the whole family
And because of us
You were left with
Many sleepless nights.
With sweat and hard work
You conjured bread for our hungry mouths
Out of nothing
And for his children
Built palaces and bridges.
An iron shield
That protects the family
Flawlessly and bravely
A winged angel, who
In his bosom, carries
The whole home.
In his eyes, one can see
Bliss and sorrow
Mixed with
A pain,
On his face is written
Every one of his children’s tears.
On his bent shoulders
He carries
His family
Taming beasts for them
And with storms and tempests
Fights his whole life.
He is always ready
To sacrifice himself
And to die for his children
That is how my father is
The hero of my childhood
Who I will always carry
In my heart.
