Fading Shades

Fading Shades

With the rising sun opened my eyes,

A new day has begun was the message spread in the sky.

There was an end highlighted with the bright color of the streak,

The wind was calmed and quite gently blowing from the east.

As the day widens the golden-yellow hues were at best,

Searching for the new horizon merging blues to the west.

It is in the twilight the shadow appears in many shades,

When I reached the bottom line into black & white, colors seem to fade.
