Certified Teacher...

It was all of a sudden 

A thought popped in my mind

While I was making besan laddoo

During my quarantine.

Why not ask questions to my family 

(Pardon me to show you all

Height of my teacher girl ! )

So I showed one ladoo to all 

And asked them to tell

Is the size big or small?

Everyone said they are OK with any size 

As they knew

I didn’t give them much choice!

Now my next question was to tell it’s the shape

They said,” come on mom it’s so simple” 

Everyone knows it’s a circle!

I knew this question they cannot answer

With little more pride, I said 

No! It’s a Sphere!

Now I could see from their faces 

How much they were getting bored

And silently pleading me 

Mom please No More! 

But as teachers never stop

So neither did I 

I stacked laddoos one above another 

And asked again what does it look like?

Everyone at home together in one voice

Said, “mom why don’t you tell what is this “

I laughed and said,’ oh this is a pyramid!

Then I told everyone

To pick one ladoo , 

Eat and give your feedback here,

Everyone took not one but two 

And said

“Mom you’re truly a Certified Teacher!!”
