Embers Of Time: A Winter's Tale

Embers Of Time: A Winter's Tale

In the heart of winter's embrace,

Where frosty tendrils dance with grace,

A sanctuary of warmth unfolds,

By the fireside, stories untold.

As daylight bids its last adieu,

The hearth ignites its amber hue.

Gleaming embers in the night,

A symphony of flickering light.

Cosmic quilt of twinkling stars,

Witness to tales that bridge the hours.

Crackling logs, a whispered song,

Echoes of a year prolonged.

Coziness weaves its silent thread,

Encircling moments, where dreams are bred.

In the haven of flickering flames,

Eager minds play storytelling games.

A tapestry of memories unfurls,

As winter's fingers spin their swirls.

Reflections dance in the fire's glow,

Casting shadows soft and low.

Fingers entwined with mugs held near,

Sipping warmth, banishing fear.

A shared glance, a knowing smile,

We linger here a little while.

The past year's chapters, both joy and sorrow,

Shared in whispers of tomorrow.

Embraced by the hearth's gentle heat,

The present moment, so bittersweet.

Soft blankets cocoon us tight,

Shielding us from the winter night.

Outside, the snowflakes gently fall,

A silent ode to stories enthralled.

Fables of courage, love, and woe,

Echo within the fire's soft glow.

Legends born in the crackling flame,

Unfurling tales, each a unique name.

Auld lang syne, a timeless theme,

Woven into the fireside's dream.

The old year's book now gently closed,

As a new one in the embers posed.

In this sanctuary, time suspends,

A tapestry of moments, amends.

As winter's fingers brush our skin,

We find solace deep within.

So, let the fire's warmth abide,

As winter evenings softly glide.

For by the fireside, stories find voice,

And in their telling, hearts rejoice.
