Egg Whites

Egg Whites make me feel safe...

Sometimes I feel like a yolk.. semi-solid...

Fragile...with a tendency to break at any moment...

I feel scared...

Egg Whites cover me like the night sky covers the Sun.

It takes me to the dark little world it has...

Far away from the world of lights and chaos...

I like the darkness.. and the silence it has...

Egg whites make me believe in dreams...

In a world free from violence and hypocrisy...

Inside its world, I'm my own creator... my own king...

It helps me to grow on my own...

The world outside runs like a sprint runner,

With thousands of hurdles in front...

But I have always been slow...

Preferred walking to running...

After all these years of constant running,

I have completely forgotten who I actually was...

And Who am I.

But I still dream of getting back...

To the darkness.. far away from your world and your races...

To the egg white, I belonged...

I still feel like a yolk...
