I sat staring at my hands

Shining with my pocket money

My happiness swelled in them

Oh ! How excited I was!


Samosa, Kachori, Panipuri

Lays, Bingo, Pringles

Diary milk, Gems, Amul

Doughnuts, icecreams or cupcakes

What should I buy?


I ran to the massive shop

To see the shopkeeper smiling

"What do you want child ?"

He asked

I quickly ordered one !!


I rushed to my home

Waiting for my parents

To show them my delicious chocolate

Oh! One bite!

Would melt their mouths !!


They finally arrived

I showed them my treasure

Expecting them to lick their mouths

But to hear a loud laughter

Making me ashamed

About my ECLAIRS !!
