Echo
Echo
The bombarding of tankers echo on the borders
and in my heart echo the parting words of my father.
“Good bye! See you soon dear!”
He said this wiping my tear.
The heart wrenching sobs of my mom echo in my heart
that cruelly shatter my world apart.
The mournful scenes still parade in my eyes
when the clouds hid the crying face of the sky.
The pall bearers carried my father’s coffin draped with the tricolour,
the air was echoing the chanting of the Father.
Now the borders echo the bombarding of tankers
and in my heart echo the worthy words of my father.
“Motherland is above all relation, my son!
Shed each drop of your blood for her protection.”
Now I’m a proud soldier of my nation.
Fear echoes in their hearts when they see my devotion with my never-failing gun.
