Dwelling To Rejoin...
Dwelling To Rejoin...
It’s normal for two hearts to blend,
To heal, embrace, make amend,
Bonds join, oh very sweet bonds,
Gleaming white like swans in ponds
They may be of romance or just friendly dove
But one thing is certain, it is always love
Love to talk, to share, to laugh
Life appears like doubled in just half
But it’s normal too, for them to shatter
The whole thing comes down broken in a clatter
Priorities change, change is their company
No more the partner or the friend to accompany
Then comes the grief, the regret, the loss
A newly happy life appears to be gross
But pledges are made not to talk or meet
Neither will see each other nor will they greet
But even after all of this, they always miss
The old silly moments, the feeling of bliss
And then they chat, exchange some memes
Not intend to joke, but to relive the dreams
Still trying to remain hard, but having a talk
Like speaking while going on a very long walk
Dwelling to embrace hidden in every message
The warmth of satisfaction after a long long age
The feeling which arises in the core of the heart,
Asking whether can this be a new start?
Still being firm, “no! Won’t happen again!”
But both feel somewhat lessening of pain.
Both closing eyes, giving a long sigh
“Please let us rejoin, O almighty in very high.
Let us what we were then, O almighty in very high.
Let us be together, O almighty in very high”
