Drugged In Love

I needed some space;

I needed some air;

I needed to be pulled out of this phase.

I needed someone to care;

I needed someone to tie my lace.

Incapable, said you, victim, said a few.

I needed someone 

to hold high, my face;

I needed someone to keep me afloat,

I needed to wear humility like a coat.

But in the end, 

I just needed someone to share. 

Do you get me? My headspace?

Do you get my conflict? My special race?

Do you get my concern? My weakness I chase?

Do you get me or fret me? I duck just in case. 

After a million words like a broken record, With this, I rest my case and my head just in place.
