Do It For You

Don’t let people make you feel unappreciated. You don’t need someone to validate your actions. You do what you do for yourself. Every action you take should be primarily good for you. Anyone or anything else will fall into place by itself.

 

Don’t let anyone ask for explanations. The only person you owe it to is yourself. If it feels right, it is right and that is the only explanation that you ought to give yourself. It’s okay if you don’t know why or how, as long as you know it’s right and it’s good.

 

Don’t let people tell you what to do. Don’t let them tell you to calm down when you’re happy or when you’re giddy or when you’re angry or when you’re feeling anything at all. Express your feelings. Express yourself. Express.

 

Don’t wait for people. You don’t need anyone if they don’t need you. You’re enough by yourself, as long as you believe it. You can shift mountains and swim the seven seas, you can touch the moon and dance amongst the stars. Just believe in yourself, that’s all you need to do.

 

Life is beautiful. So don’t waste it. Seize every smile, every laugh, every experience, every opportunity that comes your way. Exploit. Embrace. And do it all only for you.
