Death

What would you do if you meet death today? 

Ask him to stop or to take you away. 

Will there be sorrow in your eyes and guilt in your souls, 

Or you will be a happy man who will be welcome to gods abode. 

Will it be heaven or will it be hell, 

Where will you bury all those secrets that you never tell. 

How would you feel when you leave those behind, 

Who were there for you in all good and bad times. 

Will the fear stick to your bone, 

And do you think someone will sit on your grave and mourn. 

Maybe no, coz you thought that you have time, 

When you were busy answering to your crimes. 

Now you see what your life lack, 

And that's when the loneliness in your heart sits back. 

Does it matter now how far you came, 

Or how much you drowned yourself in fame. 

Dear death, 

What will you say?

Let me down or fly me away. 

Now you think yourself to be an immortal being, 

But death will never differentiate between money and skin. 

So wish that when it comes, 

You are at an accord, 

You don't regret the past and don't suffer for what's gone. 

It might be on its way, 

It must already be knocking on the door. 

If it doesn't arrive today, 

It shall be here when you are alone.
