Curtain Of My Mind

I stand looking

At the reflection of my mind.

Trapped behind

A curtain of years of pain.

From deep within 

Lies a hidden shame

Years of deep thoughts

Running around my brain.

Tears rolled down my cold cheeks

A broken soul remains

As l weep endlessly

Everything inside

Feels so drained

I try and express my feeling

As my emotions take hold

Of all that l owe

And what l owe

I can't share

Or ever tell a soul.
