Crossing The Great Divide
Crossing The Great Divide
Just learned to breathe without your presence,
But this chaos shattered my hopes into pieces.
Just learned to walk without you holding my hands,
But these steps taken forward still take me back to you.
Just learned to let my lips curve a little more,
But my eyes are overwhelmed with tears each time I smile.
Just learned to meet people without you by my side,
But all those talks rewind me to a time when we first met.
Just learned to pen down my emotions,
But the words also leave midway hollowing me from within.
How do I learn to live without you then?
How do I learn to love anyone else than you?
How do I learn to imagine everyday without you?
How do I learn to laugh without you?
Do I have to cross the great divide to meet you or our spirits will find a way to be together again?
