Cross-Roads
Cross-Roads
I am standing in distress,
With my confused head.
My shoulders are drooping,
Fear stuck all across my face,
The stomach is creating knots,
The legs are shaking slightly,
I am hesitant to take a step,
Appearing lost in the crowd,
I am holding at the crossroads,
But, I need to choose one path.
The destination is unknown,
All roads seem alike to me.
I have an indistinct thought,
To take the path unexplored.
But, how to decide it alone?
The decision should be mine,
The choice may be right or faulty.
I have to decide on it quickly,
Before people push me from hither,
As I am standing at the crossings.
