That came into light through discovery and investigation...

It can be significantly proved through experimentalisation.. 

A quantity that is conserved...

Is always very reserved....

Being constant all the time is it's property observed...

 Charge is conserved!!...

  Energy is conserved!!..

   Mass is conserved!!!...

     Momentum is conserved!!...

But...when and what quantity to conserve....

While we have lots of phenomenon to observe..

To learn and let it stay in our mind as a reserve...

In a chemical reaction...we say the mass of chemicals is conserved!!

In a nuclear fission the mass and energy are conserved!!

In a physical world..there exist myriad cases to be observed!!

If the body is in motion , we say mechanical energy is conserved!!

If no external force acts on a body , we say the linear momentum is conserved....

If it is a rotating one with no torque,

we say angular momentum is conserved......

If it happens to be a charged particle with no force acting..we say mass and momentum are conserved....
