Comparisons Are Odious

When parents compare their kids marks with their friends marks,

They unknowingly inculcate jealousy in their minds.

Slowly and gradually their friendship begins to break

And they start hating each other.

Jealousy is the root of all evil,

But, people throw rocks at things that shine.

Jealousy is like a bitter medicine,

And it tastes worse when taken in friendship.
