Cold

She walks on cold thin ice,

So alone not a trace of anyone nearby.

Barefoot on an isolated desert of snow,

Not sure how long?

Endless night sky staring widely at her, watching closely her every step. 

Her little world is lost entirely,

She is so exhausted she can walk barely. 

Eyes closed remembering everything she has lost,

It's not like she hasn't bravely fought. 

She yearns for someone to rescue her, 

but her cries and screams are unheard. 

Only the trees standing there in dark watching her silently like the crowd enjoying the show.
