Chillness Of Winter Lost
Chillness Of Winter Lost
Walking down the calendar round
It's time to turn our back to all that's behind
Leaping into the dawning year ahead.
Hold on, my brother I'm still there
With arms open all the time to receive
Carols filled every breath we inhale.
The adhering year smiles
Advent rejuvenates us
Tearing the chilly winters.
Eagerly waiting for the king to be born
The fervor of Christmas burn
Fading the year-long struggle that worn.
Crowning prince with a halo around
Rest in a manger, that symbolizes hope
To be saved in time future.
The merriment that goes round
Mothers all busy with dough
Baking cakes that mark the season.
Children wander here and there
As bottles siphon wine of ginger
And rose cookies turning crispier.
The season of Christmas joyously
Paints the cold winter explicitly
As we proceed to step in the year canny.
