By The Sea
By The Sea
When I was a kid
Living by the sea
Was the hardest
For me
I hated the way
It felt lonely out there
The only sound
I could hear was of
The winds roaring and
The waves dancing
But now as a grown-up
I find comfort in it
There's a kind of peace
In the blue vast sea
And the dim moonlight
I enjoy the solitude
Now more than anything
The beauty of the night
And the sight of sunrise
The chirping of the
Migrating birds in the
Bright sky
They make you forget
The gloomy life
And fill your heart
With hope.
