Stands firm like a pillar of strength

She’ll hold you up and teach you to fly.
Mom, Mother, Amma or Aai
The one person to whom you cannot ever lie,
Working hard day and night
To then help fulfil your dreams so high.
She will nurture and care for you
Until the day you transform,
From a little caterpillar into a beautiful Butterfly.
