Break-Free!

She wants to touch the stars But holding her back are the scars,

She wants to see the world 

But is stuck in the dirt mold,

She wants to reach the moon 

But stopping her is the patriarchal doom, 

She wants to break the society chains 

But that leaves her in a worldly pain,

Trapped in this world breaks her heart 

But sadly she herself is the one not being smart,

She needs to learn that she is stopping and torturing herself 

She needs to be overcoming social fears oneself!

 

She has touched the stars 

By numbing the scars,

She has seen the world 

By cleaning away the dirt mold,

She has reached the moon 

By moving past the zone of doom,

She has broken the society chains 

By overcoming some pain,

She is now in a world of her choice 

And living now is happy rejoice,

She has made herself happy and free of sin 

Because she realized “nothing can dim the shining light from within”.
