Book
Book
A book could make a change,
For good or for evil,
For better or for worse,
For great or for small,
For sickness or for health,
For life or for dead.
From way ahead to tail end,
One thousand books I commend,
One book of life I recommend,
The book is breath of life,
To make a living soul,
The book is bread of life,
To make you whole,
In the wealth of your soul,
In health for your flesh,
In strength for bones,
With blessed fragrance of love,
In your marrow,
With blessed assurance of life,
In an endless tomorrow.
This book is the strength of my life,
This book is the length of my afterlife.
The book made from the wooden beam of light,
With leaves evergreen, forever bright
From the root to the branches of the tree of life.
The Ancient Word of the Ancient One,
The Ageless, Changeless One,
His Ancient Changeless Word,
For this aging, dying world.
Within each and every page,
A love language, the living adage,
Of the Ancient of Everlasting Days.
They that hate the book of life
Shall love to die.
In this book is life lives life eternal
Aside and outside this book of life resides death infernal.
