A clasp of my Lover

By the immortal hour.

A deep love has touched my heart,

His magic wand my fingers hold.

A clasp of my Hero

By the sweet night till the morrow.

A deep ecstasy has penetrated me, 

I am delirious of His joy to be.

O Lover, my Lover!

Come by Thy secret hour.

I have built a temple for Thee in my inner chamber,

No god except Thee can reside there.

I am a now scarlet of Thy infinitude,

A living organ of Thee in Thy amplitude.

A vast breadth of Thee runs through me, 

My simian instincts are bound to Thee.

I aspire to be in Thee forever, 

No boon than this I seek ever. 

I am now a Goddess of Thy multitude,

My voice and word are its certitude.
