Work hard.

Sacrifice.

Be consistent.

Ideals revolve around them.

"You'll make it, alright.

I trust you. Keep going. Don't stop."

DON'T STOP.

Why?

"I've followed those ideals for long,

Earned enough,

To have a break.

To be human.

To enjoy.

Tell me something,

I've always followed the so-called 'conduct',

Then what went wrong?

All those sacrifices,

This constant eyrie of anxiety.

Guilt;

every second passing by.

I lent my happiness to them.

All they gave me was anxiety enhanced.

I tried taking that happiness elsewhere;

Alas! it was too late.

As the needle strikes 12 on the gong,

My subconscious wonders,

Where I belong.
