Being Great

Every second, minute and hour you spend yesterday,

Plays an integral part in what you are today.

Greatness is the thing which every person desires,

But not all achieve it; Some fail, but some shine like sapphires.

It's in our hand whether to let go or catch it,

Whether to get 98 out of 100, or not leave even a bit.

This is the difference between normal and great,

We are the only ones who write our own fate.

Hard work is not the only way to achieve success and greatness,

But also by achieving helpfulness, happiness and kindness.

Even if u become a great person, never forget to keep your feet on ground,

And never ever ignore the concern, in your parent's sound.

Being great is not only by having wealth like the endless sky,

But by having a impact of the work you do, on the people passing by.

Even if u climb the highest of heights, always show mercy,

The consequences will always be sweet, you will see.

Not only for yourself, try to do something for your nation,

Do it selflessly and as a passion; and you will be remembered by the next generation.
